Going-away Party

So yesterday was my going away party, organized by my two besties which was held at a park and Diamond Plaza in Rowland Heights. I got the opportunity to see some people I hadn't seen since the end of high school, and hang out with people I got to see often and it was definitely an interesting mix of people. Anime expo friends...high school friends...drama friends...yeahhh, strange mix. Typically, I wouldn't even think of mixing them in with each other (and kinda for good reason XD). (Same goes for college friends too though...I don't often try to mix my socal and norcal friends.)

Though it wasn't exactly the least awkward party I've been to (I'm sure some of the party-goers felt awkward around the other people they didn't know), it was a lot of fun and I'm glad I got to see a lot of people I hoped to see before I left. Some people couldn't make it, which is sad, but hopefully we won't lose touch when I go abroad. I know my friends put in a lot of time, money and effort to arrange this party for me and I really appreciate it. (It's just weird for me to not be the one in charge. XD) They probably don't feel like it lived up to their expectations, but I think it went well enough for everyone to have a good time. (which is all that really matters, right? :D)
