Concert Tickets and Gripe

2 months before I leave! Almost to the day. Since it's coming up so fast, I've already gotten a head start on buying concert tickets for the first month I'm going to be there. I found someone through LJ that could buy them for me with a small fee so I 'hired' him to get stuff for me. We ended up successfully getting a ticket through the lottery for SUPER JUNIOR (their premium fan meeting/concert) but i wasn't really happy with the location, so we just got a second one through yahoo auction. (I suppose we'll sell the first one on yahoo auction too to make up for buying the second.) Our lottery with A-nation didn't go as well, and we didn't get anything, but then on yahoo auction we got one in the arena seats that are three sections from the stage. WIN! So two concerts in a month, both REALLY good artists that I want to see and relatively good seats. I'm so excited! Interesting thing is, the first concert, Super Junior, is FOUR days after I get to Japan. I hope I can find the place! ><

on to my complaining! So last week I had to turn in my self language evaluation form for study abroad with an 'essay' in japanese. I did it on monday at work and planned to turn it in at the study abroad office on campus. Unfortunate thing was, when i went to turn it in on Thursday (the only day I had time), they told me it was due to the Socal office and since it was due Friday, I had to express mail it. Completely annoyed because they never even had it on the paper where we had to turn it in, only online when you first printed it out (and who ever remembers that?). So even though I could had sent it in on Monday for $.44, I ended up spending FIFTEEN BUCKS to overnight express it. FML.

besides that, I moved back home for the summer this weekend and sorted through a lot of my stuff. I'm planning on selling a box worth of stuff to make extra money and i repacked boxes of stuff that I know I can't really take with me to Japan. all my clothes are still packed because I was too lazy, but I have to sort through those too to figure out what I'm actually going to bring. Mom says I should pack light and not bring more than socks and underwear but I think she's crazy. I doubt it'll be THAT easy for me to find clothes that fit me, not to mention, I'd much rather be spending my money on HOT BOYS and food than clothing. :]
